In transition

Last friday was my last day of work. life had been hectic for the last two to three weeks. for the last time i'm going to say this, working sucks for the first and last week of every month. i took at least one day leave every week under the influence of nigel during june, except for the last week of june and first week of july. almost died! but all's over and i felt really appreciated when i got my farewell bonus from my team. Thought it isn't any big amount, it was enough to make the 3 of us happy. (eddie chong beng and i quit on the same day.) Thanks to the few of them who treated us lunch, and all of the rest who contributed to our bonus. Of cos, my closer friends at work, for being such good crapping pals, making office life better. I still won't miss the times i had at work, but i'll certaintly miss the people. (: It's just part and parcel than people come and go. met nigel and went supper with him, eddie and beng after work. typical bedok 85 supper, with the table filled with chicken wings, kang kong, stingray, rice, cha kway tiao and oyster egg! *satisfied!

went out with gawin on saturday. he owed me 10 chawanmushi, so we dined in at sakae after buying tickets for transformer, and changing currency to thai baht. woohooo, i was so busy that i didn't have time to chance money and pack my bag until the last minute. i think the craving for chawanmushi died down already. oh! my beloved fossil watch really spoilt, and i have to make do with the free watch that we got from his comms ball. Bad. So we watched transfomer, and met up with manfred n jen for dinner before going over to manfred's place for mahjong. only played for a short while because my girls were coming to my house at 1130pm.

finally packed my bag when i reached home, and we yak the whole night away. it wasn't a wise choice to sleep because the flight was at 6am.

so i went bangkok on sunday morning! ((:

the first time i'm flying tiger airway, and of cos, going to the budget terminal. it looks like an ice-skating ring. lol. we thought it was free seating, so we went early, but there was a queue already. in the end there were seats allocated. thank goodness! shop around budget terminal, and ate breakfast at killiney's.

will continue about our trip soon. i'm tired!
