indulge in reminiscence!

An just passed me my 300 beautiful photos four hours ago, and i'm done with sorting and arranging them in my mickey mouse photo album that i bought from hongkong. Looking at those photos really made me miss hongkong a hell lot man! Perhaps it's just the company that matters. So, i miss my kudamonos too!!! Photos really bring back memories.

Everything happened so fast, it's already half a year. It really seemed like yesterday, that chin, ting and I implusively decided to go Hong Kong. We were so keen on going that we promised each other even if wei and na don't want to go, we'll go ahead without them. To our surprise, the 2 of them spontaneously agreed! Researches were done about hotels and flights. I remembered we were on a conference one faithful night, and ta-dang, hotels and flights booked! Initially wanted to go on an earlier date, but the money-conscious us decided to delay a week, so that we can have the 88-88 deal. (If i had gone one week earlier as plan, i would be going hk the same timing as cookie monster! haha) The whole process only took us 1 week, or 2 at most. Woohoo! Kudos to ting who did most of the online researches and bookings, and even went to an extent of helping us book a van, so that we would not be stranded by hongkong streets on our way back, cos we figured out by then our luggages would be too heavy n bulky if we chose mtr/taxi. ((:

It was so last minute that i only changed currency the day before, and packed my luggage late at night, when my flight was 0640! chin came to bunk in with me that night, and we went for supper downstairs, where i bummed into cookie monster... (u rem?) lol! Stayed up the entire night cos that woman didn't allow me to sleep, but i must say it was fun and exciting! Our dear na was so late that we almost couldn't check in and 'sit together'! haha... and that was when i realised i wasn't the only 'last minute person' cos ting didn't even change enough currency! The only thing i could remember when i was on board the plane was puny legspace plus couldn't decline seats! Nevertheless, i slept the entire 3 hours while my girls engaged in their favourite cam-whore activity!

The highlight of the whole trip was none other than our 'ba ba ba la ba la ba ba' song that kept us so occupied all four days! Hilarious lah... We were trying to create our own acappella, but always failed 'cos at least one of us will end up bursting into laughters! and wei always didn't want to join us! haha... The song was so haunting that we decided to record it using chin's hp, and set full volume as alarm tone!!! These are the things that i do with those girls man! (:

It was an impromtu decision to head down to Shen Zhen, which none of us regretted. DVDs and VCDs were swept home by us at fucking cheap prices! *We love bargains! not to forget the cheapo bags we got. I bought 3 summore! I am disgusted by the amt of people carrying those bags nowadays that i don't really use it anymore. HAHA. It was really fun 'bullying' an the whole trip! Like how ting and i refused to let her eat our 鸡蛋仔, but allowed chin to eat instead! Not forgetting our dearest an acting as 瞎眼妹, making us laugh with the slightest thing that came out from her mouth. Her famous line: 好笑meh, 我不觉得！

As our main aim for the hk trip was to: Eat and Shop, thus we didn't bother visiting any tourist attractions i.e Victoria Peak, Ocean Park, Disneyland. The only place that we went to was Avenue of Stars aka 新光大道, where there are a lot of handprints by hk celebrities. That was the last day. We chionged shopping even the very last minute, at hk airport, til we literally RAN to our gate! But the flight was delayed for 2 freaking hours, so we self entertained ourselves with those '3-2-1 poses'! It was hell fun lah!

I will never forget those classics during the trip...
Ting: Wearing as if she was going to thailand/beach on the first day, and once again, thanks for helping us with the bookings and all! How can we forget how she cried when we were on our van back to the airport man!! (:

Chin: Complaint that she didn't want to sleep with me, cos i occupied too much space! Thanks for waking us up every morning with ur hp alarms, though most days we lazed in bed! She is one rich woman who bought a brand new purple-ish pink luggage for the hk trip! So LEOPARD lah! like how she bought one new pink ripcurl sports bag for our genting trip!

Wei: Entertaining us with ur 瞎眼妹 actions, making us laughed so hard! Thanks for asking ur dad to bring us arnd the place, especially sz! She is the one who brought the super HUGE snoopy bag to 'long bang' all our stuff! Those bag that china people uses, the blue and red strips kind! haha..

Na: She was the CLASSIC of the trip lah! First day came in boots, had to take off the boots cos of security checks at the airport. Then she changed into pumps, which gave her A LOT OF feet cramps!!! Gotta stop a few times to walk slowly with her! Thanks for sleeping with me the last night, when ting n chin abandoned me, and also thanks for making us campbell soups and cup noodles! I'm still amused by u waking me up in the middle of the night, asking me if i was cold, but then realised i was just 'grinding' my teeth like always! and that woman brought 1 big roast GOOSE from hongkong all the way back to singapore! Cheers to her lah! She didn't disappint us for being the 'classic-of-trip' even til the end! I can never forget how she lie on my laps on the van back to hk airport, cos she was too 'urgent'! and the moment the van reached airport, she just chionged to the toilet, didn't even collect her luggage from the van!

Me: Luckily i didn't have any malu-acts in hongkong like i always will have! ((:

i miss hongkong! i miss going overseas with kudamonos! i miss kudamonos!!!
