Long Long Post...

September eleventh 06 Monday:
Talk about 'An unfortunate day' in the primary school composition. All happened to me today. I woke up with a sore (right) eye, and was forced to wear specs to work. Couldn't find any eye solutions to ease the reddness/itchyness/pain. So that's unfortunate event #1.

Come 10th Sept, lots of roads around Suntec City will be blocked off due to IMF. I was wondering how am i supposed to go to work then since the overhead bridge connecting Citylink and Suntec is affected. Leo and I were discussing, and he said that it seems like our first day of work! lol. In the end i followed the road signs and took a BIG round to reach office. Unfortunate event #2.

I think Meridea is down on its luck, or whatever... A bad news came in this morning, which gave me the confirmation of when i'm quitting. It is sad that this kind of things happen... No one wish for it, but paradise doesn't last forever. Like what the bf always tell me, i can't be working for this company forever (although i hope i could!). Fianlly, today, daniel gave us an insight of what exactly is happening to them us. Hai... ): Leo and I almost screamed and cried when we heard it... Ah... terrible terrible. Scream and cry because we hadn't earn enough! lol... But no matter what, i guess the decision is finalised, and we can't do anything to change reality. It just sums up that reality is cruel. so cruel that my 800bucks flew away just like that! ): Where to find a company that is so cosy! We were not sack, not retrench, we quitted. so, unfortunate event #3.

They say there's always rainbow after a rain. How true... Just as Leo and I were mourning over the sad news in the morning, we were granted the permission to work from home!! *cheers! ((: And even better, i was allowed to take the laptop home to facilitate better working from home environment! wahaha... The only consolation of the day... And since we are leaving the place already, we decided to 'clear' the pantry! Made lots of beverages and opened many packets of biscuits! lol...

But my series of unfortunate events didn't end here. I was lugging a heavy laptop plus charger plus a lot of handphones etc home yesterday. So i decided to take 358 back, but just before the bus reached my stop, it started pouring like hell. wtf!! Thus i was stranded at the bus stop. I thought that the rain would probably not stop so soon, so i just braved the rain. Got drenched. duh... unforunate event #4

A day with Monos (and Jorin!):
Finally met up with jorin on sunday! and we didn't go swimming plus bcm as planned. Instead, we headed to bugis for some shopping! lol... it was lucky we didn't go swimming coz the weather kinda turned bad. We literally combed the whole bugis/parco/bugisvillage/icon in five hours or so! It was nice catching up with that woman! (mr chua! or hazel?) hahaha! We were still talking about local celebrities, i.e Thomas Ong, and the next moment, we saw him!! lol... Til now, i am still amazed that jorin actually saw me while i was having driving lesson on friday night! *amazing!

At night was spent with my monos at parco. A long overdued birthday treat from dear yuting! Initially the plan was to eat at Liang Seah St, but we were too lazy to hop over, so we settled for V8 Cafe. All was too hungry, so we didn't wait for ah song. oops! haha... Let the pictures do the talking:

Hopped over to bugis street to buy another nautical necklace before all of us go separate ways. In the end ah song and i sat down at tamp interchange to chat for quite long before i head home! ((:

Friday and Saturday:
Basically nothing much lah... I had driving lesson on friday night, and it was raining heavily! It really made driving a lot more challenging sia. Couldn't see clearly lor... Cannot afford to stone. Raining plus night driving = terrible! luckily i didn't get into any accidents! haha...

Today is tuesday....

Finally my baby is coming home! ((:
