Blessing in Disguise?!

These few days have been dramatic! The office seemed to be casted by some unlucky spell. First on tuesday, we encountered a 'blackout' or rather power tripped. And it occurred not only once or twice, but at least 4, 5 times! In the end we suspected it was the VPN thing that caused it, because everytime we connect, there'll be a power trip... =/ Second, on wednesday morning when i came in, the internet connection decided to die on us. After one whole morning of meddling with the linksys router and calling up the starhub technician, the 2 men in the office still can't get it working, and viola! we got the rest of the day off! ((: Wanted to take a nap after eating cup noodles when i reached home, but mummy came back happily with her new HP. lol... Didn't know she went to buy new hp, somemore it's better than mine lor.. Anyway she got SE W700i. 2MP camera phone sia! hip hip! So she bugged me to teach her how to use asked me transfer photos/files to her, blah blah... Didn't get to take my nap til 6pm! But it was a good nap though! Long time didn't take nap already! Slept til bout 8pm then went dinner with parents...

Reported to work at 1pm on thursday cos boss predicted that the network won't be up til then. Happy to say, when we reached the office, it was still down! yippe ya ya! Nelson tried to get it working, but it got worst, so had no choice but to ask the Starhub technician to come down. That meant i slacked the whole afternoon again, until 5pm! Good money huh! After that was hell, cos when all's well, testing resumed! Worked all the way til 8pm w/o lunch! 7 hours straight... ): Very tiring leh.

Friday was fun! After one whole night of meddling with the wireless connection, the boss still cannot get it working. lol... So, he roped in our special guest of the day: Leo! Was quite surprised to know that he was coming to help us cos he's doing his attachment currently. Leo is still the NOISY leo! The moment he stepped into the office, the whole place liven up. lol. He helped dan (the boss) with all the internet stuff and got everything working again. He's dan's favourite employee lar! lol.. All thanks to Leo i got free lunch from dan! wahahaha! Think Leo will be coming back to work this august... That guy is full of ideas for funny dances! Last time when he was around the 3 of us (me, ry and zhi) learnt bu pa bu pa from him, now he came back and told me bu pa bu pa is no longer in fashion, and the IN dance is wu niang! hahaha! Maybe we shall have another kbox session and see how he dances again! lol... Dan went over to another office after lunch. Was rotting at work while chatting with jorin and we were really talking crap... lol.. 5pm onwards was terrible. New midlets came rolling in and we had to really MULTI-task. I had to do the journeys powerpoint, do the ST testing and help activate production testing all at the same time. Argh. so busy can. all 3 different things - do til i blur! In the end dan suggested us to stay in to finish up the last minute work, but both me and nelson can't make it....

That's why on a faithful saturday morning, i'm at work, earning 9/hr! whahaha.. But it seems like we've got quite a lot of work to rush. I hope can finish by the time my small boy comes over.. ): had to give up my driving lesson because of work! argh.... the worst thing is my boss even here in the office, and we had to slog our ass for him to finish the work so that he can meet the deadline. BOO!
